Why we exist
Stop Cleaning. Start Living in Barefoot Bay.
You work all week. You get home. The house needs attention again — counters, floors, bathrooms, dust that showed up two days after you cleaned. Saturday morning rolls around and instead of doing what you actually want, you're scrubbing toilets and mopping floors.
The house gets clean. But you're exhausted. And by Wednesday, it looks like you never touched it.
Meanwhile, the things that actually matter to you — time with your kids, your business, your health, a Saturday that feels like a Saturday — keep getting pushed to "next week."
You shouldn't have to choose between a clean home and a life you enjoy. That's a trade-off that doesn't need to exist.

I had a wonderful experience with Captain Duster today! Paige came to clean my home, and I couldn't have been more pleased. She was incredibly polite, respectful, professional, and hardworking. She spent over four hours cleaning and still managed to finish ahead of schedule, which was a nice bonus because it gave me more time to enjoy the rest of my day! Most importantly, my house is absolutely spotless! I also want to give a shout-out to the office staff. Their communication is excellent, from the text messages and appointment reminders to the personal conversations I've had with them. Everyone I've spoken with has been genuinely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. It's refreshing to deal with a company that clearly values customer service. I originally booked Captain Duster just to give them a try, but after today's experience, I'm definitely going to become a regular customer. Thank you, Paige, and the entire Captain Duster team, for such a great experience! I highly recommend them!

Captain Duster provides house cleaning service in Barefoot Bay, FL — standard, deep, and move-in/out cleans by bonded, insured local crews serving Barefoot Bay community, Lakeside units, Recreation District and nearby areas, backed by a 24-hour guarantee.
Barefoot Bay is one of the largest 55+ communities on the Treasure Coast — thousands of manufactured and modular homes set around lakes in southern Brevard, just north of Micco. Manufactured homes have different surfaces, tighter layouts, and more skirting and crawlspace than block-built houses, and most residents here are full-time retirees or snowbirds. Drive time from our Sebastian home base is short. When you go recurring you get the same crew every visit, and you get a written guaranteed quote with no in-person estimate.
Barefoot Bay's manufactured home character creates interior cleaning conditions quite different from block construction. Lower ceiling heights, narrower hallways, and vinyl flooring throughout make navigation efficient but also mean that central A/C systems cycle air through smaller cubic volumes — which can concentrate mold spores and dust faster in poorly ventilated units. The lakeside setting in southern Brevard generates persistent humidity from the lake surfaces that immediately surrounds the community, and screen enclosures on lakeside units accumulate algae and organic film on their frames. The 55+ demographic means many residents have lived in their units for decades and have accumulated the cleaning backlog that comes with owner-maintained homes over a long period — a first deep clean in Barefoot Bay often reveals surfaces that haven't been reached in years.
Barefoot Bay is built for the easy chapter — the lakes, the rec district, the neighbors, and no chore waiting when you get home. Cleaning shouldn't sneak back onto that list. It won't; that's exactly what we're here to take care of.
Manufactured and modular homes clean differently, and we know the differences — lower ceilings, tighter hallways, vinyl and laminate floors that want pH-neutral care, and A/C that cycles through smaller spaces where dust and mildew can concentrate if a unit is under-ventilated. The lakeside setting keeps the humidity up, and screen enclosures on the water-facing units pick up algae and organic film on their frames. Many residents have been here for years, so a first deep clean often reaches surfaces that haven't been touched in a while — and a recurring rhythm keeps it that way. We do our best to send the same cleaner each visit.
Looking for house cleaners near you in Barefoot Bay? Nice and easy. Tell us about your home and get a written price — no in-person estimate. A background-checked, insured local crew comes with every supply and a 24-hour guarantee, and the price follows your home, not your ZIP. We cover all of Barefoot Bay in the 32976 ZIP — the main community, the lakeside units, and the Recreation District.

Barefoot Bay community to Recreation District: the Barefoot Bay we clean.
Barefoot Bay runs across the ZIP codes 32976, and Barefoot Bay community has little in common with Lakeside units. Here's how our crews approach each part of town.
Barefoot Bay community
- 32976
The main Barefoot Bay community (32976) is thousands of manufactured and modular homes set around lakes in southern Brevard. Tighter layouts, lower ceilings, and vinyl or laminate floors throughout call for pH-neutral products that won't harm the finish or the adhesive underneath.
Barefoot Bay community (32976) — standard, deep, move-out and recurring cleaning by the same Barefoot Bay crew.
Lakeside units
- 32976
The lakeside units (32976) have screened porches facing the water, where the persistent lake humidity accumulates algae and organic film on frames and porch furniture faster than a fully enclosed interior. Interior porch cleaning — floor and furniture wipe-down — can be added to any standard or deep-clean visit.
Lakeside units (32976) — weekly, biweekly, monthly or a one-time deep clean for your Barefoot Bay home.
Recreation District
- 32976

Whether you searched for a cleaning company in Barefoot Bay, house cleaners near Recreation District, or a maid service across Florida's Space Coast, you land on the same team: W-2 employees already on this route, supplies and equipment included, written guaranteed price, and the Captain's 24-hour Guarantee behind every visit.
Barefoot Bay house cleaners

Maid service near Barefoot Bay, Florida
Same visit, older word. In Barefoot Bay, Brevard County it means a full pass — dusting, kitchen and bathroom sanitizing, floors vacuumed and mopped, trash removed — on whatever rhythm Barefoot Bay community picks, with a discount for booking it standing.
Housekeepers for Barefoot Bay homes
A housekeeper, in practice, is continuity. Put Barefoot Bay community or anywhere else in Barefoot Bay on a recurring schedule and we do our best to keep the same cleaner on it, which is why standing customers here stop leaving notes by the third visit.
Cleaning companies in Barefoot Bay

Cleaning guides for Barefoot Bay
FAQ
Do You Have Any Question?
Do you offer a cleaning service near me in Barefoot Bay?
Yes — Captain Duster covers all of Barefoot Bay. Wherever you are in town, from Barefoot Bay community, Lakeside units, Recreation District to every ZIP we list (32976), a background-checked, insured cleaning service near you is only minutes away. Send us your address and you'll get a written, guaranteed price — no walk-through — and you never have to wonder whether we reach you: we clean the whole city.
Barefoot Bay is a manufactured home community — do you clean manufactured and modular homes the same as site-built houses?
Yes, and we understand the differences. Manufactured homes have tighter layouts, lower ceilings, and different flooring profiles than site-built block construction. Vinyl and laminate flooring throughout is common, and we use pH-neutral products that won't damage the finish or adhesive layer underneath.
The community is 55+ — are there scheduling accommodations for residents with mobility considerations?
We work around your schedule entirely. If you prefer crews during a specific window so you can step out, or if there are parts of the home that need extra care due to accessibility equipment, let us know at booking and we'll note it in the client profile.
Barefoot Bay's lakeside units have screened porches that face the water — do you include those in a standard clean?
Interior screened porch areas can be added to any standard or deep-clean visit. The lakeside humidity in Barefoot Bay means screen frames and porch furniture accumulate mold and pollen faster than fully enclosed interiors. We include floor cleaning and furniture wipe-down when the porch is in scope.
As a mostly snowbird and retiree community, what's the right cleaning schedule for a home that's empty in summer?
For Barefoot Bay homes that close up from May through October, a pre-departure clean in April and a pre-return clean in October are the minimum. Manufactured homes can trap humidity and develop musty smells inside closed cabinets faster than block construction — that October clean addresses it before you settle back in.
Do I need to do anything before the crew arrives in Barefoot Bay?
Very little. Anything on the floor or the counters slows the visit down, so a quick pick-up helps; put valuables and fragile pieces somewhere safe, and send a note about priorities or rooms to skip. Everything needed for the clean comes with us.
Can you clean my Barefoot Bay home if I have pets?
Yes. Pets are the norm on our Barefoot Bay route, not the exception. Tell us what lives there when you book, and shut in anyone who does not enjoy strangers or a vacuum — we plan the visit around them and keep doors closed where that helps.
Can you clean my Barefoot Bay home while I'm at work?
You don't need to be there. Most Barefoot Bay clients leave a garage code, a lockbox, a gate code, or a key, and we follow whatever entry instructions you give us when you book. We lock up when we finish, and on recurring visits we do our best to send the same cleaner each time, so the same trusted person has access.
Do you need to visit before you can price a Barefoot Bay clean?
There is no walk-through and no sales visit. Send the details, get the written guaranteed price, book and pay online. What moves the price is the home itself — bedrooms, bathrooms, condition, any add-ons — not where in Barefoot Bay it sits.
What is the 24-hour guarantee?
Tell us within 24 hours and we come back and redo the area at no extra charge. That is the whole guarantee — no forms, no argument. We would rather drive out again than leave you with a job that is only mostly finished.
Do you work with Barefoot Bay HOAs and guard gates?
Yes. We clean in gated and HOA communities across Barefoot Bay — just add your guard-gate instructions, gate code, or the community's vendor check-in steps when you book, and your cleaner follows them. If your HOA keeps an approved-vendor list or needs a certificate of insurance, ask us: Captain Duster is bonded and insured and can provide one.
Is Captain Duster a cleaning company or a maid service near Barefoot Bay, FL?
There is no practical difference for you. "Maid service" is the older phrase and "house cleaners" the common one; either way Captain Duster sends its own employees to Lakeside units and the rest of Barefoot Bay, with the products, the equipment and a guaranteed price agreed in writing first. Book it on a standing schedule and you get the housekeeper version of the same thing — the same cleaner whenever scheduling allows, plus the frequency discount, anywhere inside 32976.
Does your Barefoot Bay crew go outside the city limits?
Our crews cover all of Barefoot Bay — Barefoot Bay community, Lakeside units, Recreation District and every ZIP we list (32976) — plus the nearby cities we already serve on Florida's Space Coast: Grant-Valkaria, Micco, Roseland. There's no minimum-distance trip charge anywhere in Barefoot Bay or the rest of Brevard County; send your address and you'll get the written price.
