Expanding · Gainesville, FL
If you searched for house cleaning in Gainesville and landed here, the honest answer is: not yet. Gainesville sits on our expansion list, close to University of Florida & Downtown's Bo Diddley Plaza, and the waitlist below is the only thing on this page that does anything today.
Our mapping for Gainesville currently runs across Downtown, Duckpond, Haile Plantation, Midtown and Pleasant Street Historic District — with 32601, 32605, 32607, 32608 and 32609 as the ZIP coverage those neighbourhoods fall under.
Near enough to the water to feel it, far enough to be spared the worst of it: that is where Gainesville sits, and it shapes how often a home actually needs attention rather than how dramatic each visit is.
What happens after you join: nothing, until it matters. We contact Gainesville waitlist members once, when we genuinely open, and that message is an invitation to book — not a newsletter.
Why we exist
You work all week. You get home. The house needs attention again — counters, floors, bathrooms, dust that showed up two days after you cleaned. Saturday morning rolls around and instead of doing what you actually want, you're scrubbing toilets and mopping floors.
The house gets clean. But you're exhausted. And by Wednesday, it looks like you never touched it.
Meanwhile, the things that actually matter to you — time with your kids, your business, your health, a Saturday that feels like a Saturday — keep getting pushed to "next week."
You shouldn't have to choose between a clean home and a life you enjoy. That's a trade-off that doesn't need to exist.

Captain Duster left my home sparkling!! I had never paid for someone to clean my home but it was so worth it for the mental health. My oven looks amazing, the bathrooms are shiny, and you could eat off the floors. They even vacuumed my dog’s bed which is so sweet! I will absolutely be booking them for a more regular clean.
Captain Duster handled my townhouse cleaning for a move out with ease. The online scheduling system, the team's communication and cleaning services were all great.
I am blown away. Today was the first time I’ve used Captain Duster and it will definitely not be my last. They were a breeze to communicate with and I loved that I could get an estimate quickly and easily via text and email. I have 5 cats and a Golden Retriever so pet hair is a huge deal at my house and they handled it perfectly! I can’t wait for my next cleaning! Do yourself a favor and let this company handle the hard stuff. 🤯
Brittany does a great job! I love her added touches and she’s very thorough.
Danilo did an excellent job on my windows.
Kelsey did an amazing job! It was such a stress relief to come home to a tidy and clean home especially with pets. She left my bathrooms and kitchen sparkling, my shelves and furniture dust free, my floors sanitized, and even scrubbed all the noseprints from the pups off the back door. I’ll truly be able to relax this weekend and will definitely be booking a cleaning at least once a month. 100% worth it and so glad I booked with Kelsey and Captain Duster!!!
Great attention to detail. I'm very happy with the cleaning!

I found Captain Duster through Thumbtack. We hired them to clean my brothers house when he sold it. They worked with the time frame we needed and sent 5 people to complete the job. They did an excellent job and were professional and friendly. I strongly recommend them!
