What this route is actually like
Working in Indian Harbour Beach, day to day
Indian Harbour Beach is a compact barrier-island community of about 2.5 square miles in Brevard County, just north of Indialantic. Most homes are within a few blocks of the Atlantic.
Indian Harbour Beach clients are packed into a 2.5-square-mile barrier island north of Indialantic, with homes on both the ocean-facing and Intracoastal sides. The ocean-facing side has more intense salt exposure; the river side deals more with organic lagoon pollen. Either way, biweekly cleaning keeps the surfaces from building up between visits and clients stay loyal once they find a crew they trust. The year-round resident character of the community — higher than most barrier-island towns — means demand doesn't crater in summer the way purely snowbird markets do. Commute from Sebastian is about 50 minutes north on US-1.
