What this route is actually like
Working in Jensen Beach, day to day
Jensen Beach is a community in Martin County that spans the mainland and the Hutchinson Island barrier island via the causeway. It has a historic small-town downtown known for the Pineapple Festival, along with oceanfront condos on the island side.
Jensen Beach clients split between two distinct areas: the mainland historic neighborhood near the Pineapple Festival district, and the Hutchinson Island condo side accessible via the causeway. The mainland homes have mature tree canopy and original historic construction — heart-pine floors and 1920s tile that reward careful surface handling. The island side is oceanfront condos with a strong seasonal rental market and October–April snowbird demand. Jensen Beach is approximately 55 minutes south of Sebastian via US-1. Routes here stay geographically compact — the causeway is the only variable, and both sides of it stay busy through the fall and winter.
