What this route is actually like
Working in Wabasso, day to day
Wabasso is a rural community in Indian River County, just north of the Sebastian River, with large lots, equestrian properties, and homes on well water and septic.
Wabasso is a short drive north of Sebastian — about 15 minutes up US-1 and then west on CR-510 into the rural mainland. Clients here have horse properties, agricultural acreage, and large residential lots with older Florida cracker construction. The cleaning work is varied: original heart-pine floors, well-water mineral staining on fixtures, and homes with detached cottages that can be included in the same visit. Rural routes take longer to drive between addresses, but the client base is loyal and long-tenure. The organic dust from equestrian and agricultural neighbors keeps homes dirtier between visits than suburban counterparts, which means clients on biweekly schedules particularly appreciate the consistency.
